I've been having trouble smashing underspin lobs, what is the proper technique for it? Is it proper to chop smash these balls? haven't seen too many pros resorting to chop smash

An example of an underspin lob is in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdclot6HqKY&feature=related between 8:50 and 9:05

not really. If somebody chops a loop way too high would you call that a lob?

Correct you are.  Although it still was a reaction I don't think he did it on purpose.  :)

There was a liu guozheng vs joo point that was pretty funny. Liu tried to forehand swat the semi high backspin ball. And it went flying off his racquet into the air.

Actually, hey guys, would any1 know how to BH smash medium/high backspin lobs with Long Pips? and possibly BH punch low ones?
Just curious, cuz i usually just twiddle and smash the high ones.
