so what do you guys think,
On the limit of the blades speed, on being FAST. I consider blades like the P.C and donic carbo system and stiga supercarbon to be acceptable but not considered fast. Perhaps the limit on a looping blade. I like to drive, block and too flat hit aggresively, and try pushing my opponent away from the table. So thats why i love going faster with my blades and rubbers. |

I got DHS CW-C with Sriver FX 1.9 for FH and Hammond 2.0 for BH. Should I put Bryce instead or something faster

no, it should be fine. Sriver fx is nice it should needs good control, though you might want to try 2.1mm or max. I find that 1.9 on a fast carbon ,that the ball hits into the blade to early so it would topout after you take a step back from the table.

That's a good idea. I've nerver tried 2.1 or max on Sriver FX. Your right about ball topout. Even when I threw in a strong fast loop I had problem when the other guy managed to return w/ a block my 2nd or 3rd often ended up off the table by a little bit
The fact that the ball hits the fast carbon blade early gives a wonderful exploding sound but I think it's slowing down my loop. Will try a max

My setup is in my sig, generally I use around 2-3 layers of CTE. Pretty quick imo. As for what Skyline said about soft rubbers bottoming out, I think that is possible but with Bryce Speed FX and the added effect of CTE, I think there is enough tension created in the topsheet that you don't have to worry about that happening, at least with this rubber and tuner. Other soft sponge rubbers on a blade as hard and as inflexible as an SC may have that problem, such as Desto or Plasma.

SC: BTY Solcion (FH) / Joola Tango (BH),.... Andro Plasma 380 works well too. The soft rubbers are fine if using "max" thickness to prevent bottoming out and to increase spin and speed.
AH NWC one-ply: Tibhar Nimbus Sound (FH) / Joola Tango (BH)

Im having equipment malfunctions lately as well.
I have tried to step away from the Darkside and moving back into the Light. Ummm it's been now about 3 days since I've switched bach to Bothsides inverted, and the past couple of days I've had the JOSILVER 2mm in the FH with F1 BH, and I just can't get the hang of the 2mm with the Amultart, Im okay when I play a short game and service receive, but once I step up the power on the FH it gets unpredictable since know i'm more focused on looping bothsides, right now it's getting the blade to early soooo I try to get more dwell, but i think overall I'm not producing any strong or consistent shots... Anyway I will try XTEND SG I got it in Max, Ill give it a go the next time I play, I hope it works fine so I can just work on getting the BH back. Last time I've used bothsides inverted was about 2 years ago, I used to twiddle with the pimples before and played the brickwall game Yeah if I got some extra dosh I'll order in some ROXON and JOPLATINUM in Max of course! |

Ginko, try to make sure that even when you increase the power of your swing that you are still grazing the ball well. That is a large problem when people start swinging harder is that they end up "hitting" the ball more than still looping it.

i am now using 729 focus I for bh/fh and i am loving this setup!!! I have so much control and at the same time very good speed because of the speed of the blade. oh and better spin due to being tackier than sriver i had before.
I think i'll be using this setup for a while..... |

Thanks for the tip carbonTT...
I've tried the XTEND SG today, i does feel better than the silver with the Amultart, but with that to say I still sail the ball long when I go for harder shots, I'll try your to tip, and thanks for your help.
*I did quite well against Gekogark today...
but Penguin steamrolled me
