Which lasts longer: topsheet or sponge?

   hi. 

i use spinmax so don't face problem with friction of my tacky tops. but the elasticity of the topsheet rubber combo sure suffers a lot in a few months. 

i was just wondering is elasticity is more a topsheet property or sponge property? changing which of these instead of both, will help in restoring the physical properties of the combo (not urface properties)?
