    Posted: 04/13/2008 at 1:10pm
I'm considering to buying new rubbers.  Right now I'm only experienced with the rubbers I have, so I need to change and try other ones too. And I play shakehand.

What I'm looking for is a rubber thats good spin+control, with good speed, durability, and is good for development. I practice 4 times a week amounting to 8 hours a week. Smile

And my rubbers are very tacky Chinese rubbers, Novar is good spin+control. I'm not sure which is better for me, Chinese rubbers or European rubbers?

Need help. Oh and this applies to me and zpinz. Smile

First one that pops to mind is classic Butterfly Sriver.

However, for Chinese rubbers, they have tacky surfaces, so the durability tends to be a bit shorter.

keyword - DEVELOPMENT. Those rubbers are too fast rofl.

Sriver/Mark V as usual has very good spin and decent speed with excellent control.

Waittttt, so are you joking or not? Because this guy is trying to get actual advice, and your sending him confusing messages..Bryce Speed/Speed FX is just way too fast for a developing player.

I agree, I'm not so much worried about that much speed. Great spin and control with sufficient speed is good for me. I'm not a speed demon. Wink

Believe me, the speed of BS/BSFX is more than sufficient.

If spin is really your thing, go with a sheet of Globe 999.

Try, 729 cream on MRS its inexpensive, great quality, medium fast, spinny but not too tacky if you wanna stick with chinese rubbers, they are better for service by far.  or you can try sriver with a 1,8mm sponge no too thick or you will lose control.

I'm not sure if they are better than Reactor Novar. I might just stick with it, or try something else.

go with sriver, its just chosing if ude rather a softer, hard, or a bit of both.

Im using it now, and im developing also, and im using a pretty fast blade to, and i get really good control out of it. Ive tried faster rubbers so i know how it controls, and it will probably last a very long time, and its a alright price.
