Does anyone know if this blade is good for PH pips out blocking style of play? I know Li Jia Wei uses it with SP on forehand but I want to hear penholder's view on this blade. Right now I am using Clipper Wood with Friendship 802-40 on it and I don't like how the blade feels "hollow." I like the solid feel of the KLHS (back when I played SH) and am hoping that this TSP blade will be similar. And what type of carbon is in this blade? Is Pulownia a hybrid carbon or not?

Yes, but Gergely has balsa core, not paulownia.

I'm guessing due to kiri core it must feel more solid than gergely

never trust ttdb for thicknesses.

also gergely has kiri too.
if it had balsa it would weight 75g, not 95g.

yeah butterfly says viscaria has balsa core too.
and it's a lie too.

look at balsa carbon from other brands, like andro, etc.
they weigh less than 80g.
no way gergely is balsa.
