This is a Custom 1-ply Hinoki (Atlantic White Cedar) made by http://www.AmericanHinoki.com
All the characteristics and review can be found here
I have added a little piece of cork at the bottom of the handle and a narrow piece of tape to prevent the original cork handle from chipping when/if you accidentally hit it on the table. See the photos here:
I am going for something a bit heavier and stiffer, so I am selling this masterpiece (no exaggeration) for $60. No trades please, I have too many blades as it is.
And hurry - this blade will not be here for long, I am sure...

It could be my fault as I might have said someth'n here:
http://mytabletennis.net/Forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=17725 that prompted him to slowly sell off some of his gems...
I'm being real bad these days...

I feel like it is my duty to spread the joy of 1-plyness around the world. But seriously, I need to put a stop to my expanding blade collection... they're like cockroaches - they are everywhere!
I am getting another one so this one (and three others) will have to go - I have talked to them and explained the current economic situtation... you know, dollar is falling, mortgage securities went bust, the country is neck deep in debt. The blades were understanding.
I am just doing my share.
Let me know if you wanna try it out. If nobody snatches it (them; H-WL and T-4 are still for sale) sooner then I will bring them all to Spinathon.

This blade is really close in its qualities to Darker Tanpan - I have played with both and save for the type of handle they are remarkably similar.
AW-8, however, is only half as expensive! Get it while it's hot! |
