Expect something later on tonight, I am going try out Sinus on my nittaku cho tokusen, one thing i noticed is Sinus packaging doesn't include protective film...wonder why that would be the case, Nimbus came with a film but not Sinus..

the new Roxon doesn't come with it either. Supposedly it's durable enough w/o it.

Here's the first impression, very similar to regular nimbus but little faster, I am not sure what's the hardness of this Sinus..also, when giving a good rip on the loop or smash there's a nice distinct crack sound,...spin is really good, my underspin and topspin were generating a lot of rotation on the ball...best part though is the looping and brush looping is amazing. Compared to my 10mm darker + Energy Xtra max , i found this 9mm cho tokusen + Sinus Max to be on par as far as looping from mid distance goes, so even though the rubber was faster control was pretty good, i am hesitant to use it on my 10mm darker coz it might be too fast for me to control, so for now will be using on my nittaku blade and eventually in kokutaku blade...
So ya, nothing too outrageous or exciting i guess, if you love nimbus series you will definitely want to try Sinus...now only thing as dalams said is how durable it is, since its not overly soft as my energy extra..i think it will last longer but topsheet looks exactly like nimbus. |

So they're (Sinus, Roxon and maybe Pryde from Yasaka) probably slightly improved tensors. A bit faster, a bit more durable, maybe a bit grippier.

Also Bryce speed fx doesnt include protective film, but you must buy it because durability without protective film sucks

tensors are rubbers made by ESN a big rubber factory in Europe. Bryce Speed is made in Japan.

Yesterday I've played with a Sinus.
I was a bit dissapointed.
It didn't produce as much 'sound' as a Nimbus en felt not as close to a speed glued rubber as the Nimbus (I played also with Nimbus Sound and 'regular' Nimbus yesterday).
I heard that a Donic Big Slam is good so that is the next rubber that I'll try (tomorrow).
