If iruiru had cheaper shipping, I would call them the best shop for TT goods~ And even with the somewhat expensive shiiping, they are still the best~

I've made an order last week and for the moment no news (except copy of my order) :(

I've written 2 mails but no answers, it's the first time it's happened to me.

riker71 i sent a request for a seknoh 85 between 75 and 85 grams.  they informed me it would take longer because they were going to the manufacturer to find the specs - a week after that email, i got my 82 gram senkoh 85.

i've been totally pleased with them - bty you can only track their packages until the port of entry in the u.s. after that, it's just registered mail, with no real-time tracking.

they usually take a couple of days to respond - bear in mind, and i dont mean to offend anyone, but make your questions simple and direct - you're dealing with a potential language barrier (their english is a hell of a lot better than my japanese).

I totally second that. Once I wrote a rather long and highly descriptive email and also got no response. But realising that they did put on their website that they are hopeless in English but willing to learn, I then wrote with very clear and simple question. I got response to that. And ever since, I keep all queries simple and straight to the point. So far so good.

Cheers.

I have ordered a 75 g Septear from Presports, I waited over a week for Iruiru reply and made it very simple in my email that I would like to order a Septear but before I do can they tell me weight of lightest Septear. Their range and prices are good and postage sounds very fast but its wrong that we have to place an order just to find out what the blade weight is.

thats really quite light. Would it get a bit head heavy once you put rubbers on it?

I hope not but we will see, Tenergy 1.9 and EL 2.1 means total weight should not be more than around 160g but if the tenergy makes it too head heavy I may have to replace with something lighter. I will know this before Ive even played with it as Im used to balanced setups

uwspen, I think there is no import duty up to A$1000. In fact I just got my order worth over $600 today and no duty at all. Previously I had an order above $700 also no problem. That is one thing good about AustraliaBig%20smile

Joola Genesis.  That's interesting.  I have not read any reviews or comments about it, even on Japanese forums.  You should do a review Thumbs%20Up  Even if you are not going to use it, please try to do some visual comparison with other fine 1-Ply Kiso Hinoki Jpens that you have.  Thanks in advance.

anyone ordered blade plus rubber from iruiru before and asked them to glue?

How's their cutting and glueing skills?

any thing to take note when ordering from them?

I'm thinking of getting something that is present in their jap site but not english site

I have purchased only one time to iruiru, but the communication is awful. It looks like they sell even so that they cant take into account to review some details.

The experience of my own order is that I mailed them to asking to modify my order that I have completed before and there was any answer, so I  wrote again exacty the goods that I wanted in the Email, modifing what were wrong.....

Surprisinly, A week later I received "twice" the Same order in differents envelopes, however they only mailed one tracking number.

Any other seller would have thought... "Ups, Its look like so Strange this Shipping to Spain with the same rubber, thinkness in the SAME day...."
"Maybe should be better to ensure what does he want to purchase EXACTLY".

Excuse me for my English, but iruiru is worse :D

I ordered from them and got here (Hawaii, USA) really quickly and it ought to due to the expense. Weight was in the spec I asked for...but on arrival there was a chip in the handle that was very small, but as it was a Darker blade I was expecting it to be perfect.

It wasn't: gallery.me.com/adamwitherspoon#100156

It was a minor chip, but I was bummed. The blade played really well, and I sold it on this forum and he seemed to really enjoy it. I just think that iruiru.com has this reputation for being THE place to go for Japan super high quality blades... and it may wel be... I just had an experience with an imperfect blade that made me think twice about ordering again from them.

But, no TT supplier is perfect and no blade is 100% perfect, but my Xiom is 99.9% perfect LOL And I have Rob from Affordable TT in AU to thank for that...
