I know this topic has come up before, but I'd like to see if I can get some updated personal experiences and suggestions. I play mainly SH now, but played Jpen as a kid and like the feeling of the RPG :)

Any suggestions on easily modifiable or double sided Jpens? I would like to try a one ply, but nothing too fast (I have a feeling the Darker Speed 90 Jpen Reversible is going to be too fast). If anyone has something in good condition for sale, I'll listen too. Thanks!

I have so far converted those blades on my signature to rpb blades. Very nice to play with. Disadvantage is that I can't twiddle and use both sides for service. So I recently bought myself a Nittaku Violin P-H and a Darker JSpeed90 Reversible. I have played with the Nittaku Violin dressed in Tenergy 05. Surprisingly very good control. I believe the power and speed comes from the rubber. As for the Darker JSpeed, I only just finished dressing it up with Bryce FX Powersponge and Andro Revolution. Will see how it goes when I next play with it. I have a feeling it is going to be good as I did a fair bit of conversion to the handle to suit my hold. By the way, I don't think you should worry that the blade will be too fast. Can always remedy that with slower rubbers.
