Switching from Wood to Carbon?

   I've been using all wood blades ever since I started playing (around 2 years ago).

Right now, I use a Butterfly Ester, having moving up from the Instinct to the Dawei Matrix. 

I was just wondering if carbon blades would change my game by a lot, since I use a lot of short blocks and control shots in my game, rather than looping at every half-decent opportunity.
