yeah, mizutani is the only hope for japan now.  i think top-10 is a long shot, but not impossible--he has the potential.

he somehow has to just keep improving...

mizutani can be the perfect upset maker, but reaching a semi final ,no no . the same these days is heard about mizutani was heard several years ago about other jap players but as one ITTF officcial told me they gtet bored as they get into college, tt is not as fashion as other sports in japan.young people prefer developing a career in figure skating, tenis than tt

I think india is making a good push. They're not at the top yet, but they're moving fast. Egypt is getting better.

fukoaka uses v grip for her serves ^-^. too bad im giving it up. and i do believe the japanese have a good future. but as stated in another thread, the chinese give 120% to training, and not as much to education. while the japanese are very firm on a good education.
Gave up on V-Grip, SH smoother

There are some China-trained players among them, just "disguised" by a Japanese name...

hi jkillashark  could you do a searching on sayaka hirano, she does not behave like a japanese at all, by the rude staring tatics. i am 90% sure she is oringinally from china. she had ruined the japanese reputation of most other games players of begin polite japanese. watch the game she compete with hong kong team the scary eyes she stared at  the poor hkong player,  hear what the HOST call her very rude. and after a few days later the host give her a NICK name THE STARE SPECIALIST.
she could have married a japanese and convert her name into her husband surname, it is a japanese custom. by her body language n behaviour she is not fit to be a japanese. japanese ladies are mostly demure n polite. Fukuoka could be also an import player too. there are 2 players Yo Kan n Yoshida from china, so both hirano n fukuoka chances
of ORINGINALLY from china is very high.

Thks in advance
