newbie needs help

hi guys

firstly my story. thanks to experimenting and some lawn tennis knowledge i can loop and hook forehands. my bh is a bit defensive with backspins (kinda like slice bh of tennis), bh loop but i can do a quick punch if needed.

i do not have any formal training or tournament experience in tt so its lacking and i cannot gauge my level. being relatively knew to the whole tt racket science scene i have read up a lot. i would like advice regarding a good blade and rubber. from my understanding of my own preference in playstyle i would like to:

for fh - rubber that can spin a lot, goes very fast, decent control

for bh - rubber that goes very fast, decent spin, very good control

and blade that will compliement these.

pls help. i do not mind, infact prefer, if the setup is overwhelming for me atm. i intend to stick to em until i can "tame" it i guess. i have a budget of aus$150 give or take.

i am from around the parramatta area in NSW. is there any good clubs not too far so i can go have a look and learn first hand regarding putting together rubbers and such?

yea i would like a fast setup. currently play with friend who is in the same boat as me. we do not play extremely fast rallies like the pros but it is a little quick. figure a fast set up would improve the speed of the rallies and reflexes and i enjoy a fast setup anyway.

also, what is the stance on glue? any type. i did not know they existed until yesterday and five minutes later i read elsewhere that they are being banned.

also could someone explain the numbers that go with the rubbers and blades. am i right in understanding that a rubber with 9spin for example is less spinny/tacky than a rubber with 12 or 13. but some website have high numbers that are 85 and 93 like that??
