I know i've posted about this before. But i think i have more insight now.

I'm having so much trouble deciding what i want on the HK BH. I know its best to just try different things first and decide, but I can't afford to do that. So I ask my fellow MTT.net forum members... What should I put on the BH of my HK??

I want something faster than the sriver series... most preferrably a friendship offering for the cheaper price. I want something lighter, with a softer, but not too soft sponge. I want a grippy rubber instead of a tacky rubber, mechanical spin type on my BH. Anyone know something that fits this description?? Thanks.

Hey you should probably chill just a little bit. Im so sick of when people ask for help on here, and then a few different people just hammer them. Its so old to look at.

So defensive, I didn't know seeing a similar topic posted pissed you off so much!! especially with all the olympic schedule forums that were posted, and you attack this one??!? give me a break dude, stop attacking everything. I'm not trying to be a gerk to you, it just angers me that there can be so much hostility towards everything. If you dont want to read it, dont open it.

.. it's pretty simple. I have better things to do than feed a stupid argument just because someone gets angry over another question about something. Its people like you who make it hard to ask questions about things. A person shouldnt have to worry so much when they just want to ask a simple question.

No hard feelings at all, I just get upset about that sometimes. But Just let it slide for now, I'll keep that in mind next time. okay? But it's posted already, no sense in deleting it, and reposting it in the old one. So if you have any opinions please help me out. You obviously would have something to say, since you use the HK. Sorry I seem so hostile, but again... I made it clear earlier. Thanks

That is what makes me a little angry. I did answer your question in the last post about HK bh rubber, but instead of replying there, you open a new thread here. You see?

I can see how that would make you angry.. but again theres no sense in going back and changing everything again. Plus, i am trying to get as many opinions as possible. But thanks anyway. Smile

Only one or two layers of booster once in a while, when the rubber starts to feel really dead. I hope its so little that no apperatus can test it. I think it plays ok, but then again, i am not the top player. I have a thread about videos of me, you can watch my level there.

faster than sriver series? Beeray what do you usually do with you BH?
I think Sadius got it down best in the previous post:
"Block = Bryce
Spin = Bryce
Speed = Bryce
Lower throw angle = Bryce
Power Loop = Bryce
Serve =  Sriver
Push = Sriver
Short game = Sriver
Alround-offensive = Sriver
Off + = Bryce

And also the price different too 30 Vs 46"

If you play a technique game (slower but more control) go for Sriver
If you like to punch block, and less pushing... go for Bryce

There are several chinese rubbers from my experience that I can recommend to you for BH, but I'd stick with butterfly as it seems that's what all the semi-professional/provincial players use. They all use a Bryce/Sriver variation.

Chinese Rubbers: Inspirit Quattro, SXZY Provincial Rubber, 729-5.

I also see that you were using Sriver FX on your VSG21-4000. Sriver FX is the softest and slowest of the original sriver series. And I do believe that the VSG21-4000 is slower than the Hurricane King. You might want to double check on that to make sure though. My recommendation, don't spend more money on a new BH rubber. Try your Sriver FX on the HK first. See how you like it. If its too slow... bump it up a grade to Sriver EL... if that doesn't work... try Sriver L. And I'm pretty sure you'll get your setup!

Best of luck!

That's weird, when i used my setup with EL/FX, i thought FX was faster. But I had an idea. I dont know what everyone else thinks about this rubber.. But tackifire special soft 2.1 red- i have a new sheet laying around. I just didnt like it on the VSG 4000. I thought it was slower that sriver considerably. But What do you guys think of how that would be on the HK instead of SFX? any opinions? thanks
