Since Im pretty new in the tt I was wondering about tune-ing rubber. Is it okey to use Stiga Carbon speed glue to tune the rubber? Or do I have to buy some special tune-ing to do it?

Fow how long does the tune-ing work? How often would you advise to tune the rubber to have it in good condition? And how do you tune the rubber and with how many layers?

I pretty much wanna know everything about tune-ing hehe :)

Thanks!

Use waterbased boosters or tuners to tune your rubber. Stuff like Tibhar CTE, falco booster, extreme boosters etc.

Somebody mentioned that you could tune the rubber with speed glue, is that true?

For how long will the tune-ing last?

Speed glue only last like 4 hours.  Tuners are more oily and designed to last a couple of weeks.

You can tune a piano but you cant tuna fish.  I have no idea why I just said that.

No, the only person I would hear from is tom, and he isn't saying much I guess.  I wonder if eacheng has it?  I still get some odds and ends from them.  If they have it I'll get a couple and try it, then sell the cut sheets to someone else at my cost.

No wake and bake for me in the last 12 years or so at least.  Gave up partying when I had a kid.  Started going to church and all that good stuff.  I am, however, extremely tired and kind of goofy as such.

Or if the cost is very high, and he doesn't feel like it's something he can legitimately charge more for (aka really any better), he may simply not carry it.  That's my guess.

Anyway, I'll try it pretty soon.  I'm going to put an eacheng order together this eve.  Should have results inside a week.

You should not use speed glue because of the ban coming up in September, just use none slemmling and none VOC tuners from like butterfly, tibhar, etc so that the ENEZ wont pick it up.

Use only water based glues to stick built in effect rubbers for new TT era without speed glue and boosters which will improve TT technic more. Also you will have much more time for playing TT then with messing with gluesWinkTongue
