i do find the thickness is more important than the weight...prefer the thickness arround 5.5-6.5... while the weight i have used is 165-180g..
just bought hurricane H_WH, and will compare it to hurricane hao...

first of all, I use approx. 80% RPB 20% traditional penhold blocks, and I loop rather than block / smash more in my RPB strokes.

as such, i prefer a thinner 5-ply blade (<5.7mm) for this purpose. weight-wise, too many players shy away from heavier setups. if you play regularly, 190g+ is not a problem. <180g setups lack power from mid-distance - so although it is easy for you to execute your stroke, but equally easy for your opinion to return due to the relative lack of power of your shots. more basic training and better FH/BH coordination will increase your speed with heavier setups.

I'm going to get YEO with Sriver EL back and Desto F1 for forehand. Will this combination be good for RPB? I have started using RPB for the past year so I've got pretty good control of it.
I'm 15

Clipper Wood
FH: DHS Hurricane 3 PROVINCIAL 2.15mm 38 degrees
BH: Palio CK531A OX

CPen Looper with LP twiddling, blocking hitting and LP RPB

Please post your review of Hurricane H_WH compared to Hurricane Hao. I'm also considering these blades. Also considering YE.

I have Nittaku Violin Jpen RH now, H3 Prov 41 on FH, and LKT Pro XT on the RPB side. The weight (154g) and the speed are perfect for me. But the head size is only 140x157. I'm used to it, so no problem. But I'm always wondering how it would be to have a full Cpen size. I know it would be heavier, so that's also a concern. My Violin is only 71g bare.

i am not good in review..
anyway i put on both with TG3 comm (FH), and H3 comm#19 (BH).
H WH feel is more "hollow" and vibrate more than HH;
HH is faster;
i would say that the HH is "improved version" of H_WH..

i have a violin Cpen at 85g, and have not try it...

And what is your oppinion of playing penhold style with a shakehand blade? Is it too hard for the grip?

And why? Because of the different shape of the handle or something else?

for me, its because shakehand blade face is narrower (therefore more difficult to make precise adjustments of your thumb and index finger)

How did you mean "narrower"?
