just wondering what you guys think i should get next. well to narrow it down i really like how butterfly blades. Which i will using forever! for new tt era!
neways im wondering how carbon blades feel and i really just want to get one since i dont want to be an massive ej'er.
was thinking between
-Balsacarbo
-ishlion
-photino
any other recommendations?
my style of play is mostly all around offensive player. i dont loop every shot because i dont think its needed, but when i get pushed back i will counter loop regularly.
Im using KLHS so dont include A/Carbon blades as recommendations like timo boll spirit, maze etc.
rubbers i try to stay around is tenergy, bryce speed/fx, sriver el/g2 and cermet.
if you know which ever rubber compliments a particular blade well would also be helpful. thanks in advance

The only two blades that generally get 10/10 in every review are Balsacarbo and Accoustic, just something I've noticed. I have not tried the Balsacarbo myself but from what I've read it's very good

I bought a Balsacarbo X5 on here from Sunild - it's a teriffic blade. Super light, fast, but soft also - I paried mine with Sriver FX it works well in offensive and allround capability. If I wasn't such a one-ply hinoki fan, this blade would be my number choice.

hafawaz, this is something I've wondered for a while since I don't have a one ply Hinkoi (or a 3, 5, 7, 9, or 11 ply) :) Is the "spring" feeling you get from a balsa blade similar to Hinoki? because Balsa's are my favorite blades and I was just wondering if Hinoki would perhaps be nice for me. So basically are all the Hinoki haters also the Balsa haters :)?

Balsa carbo X5 would also be the best looping blade of your 3 listed choices as it would give the most dwell, and has a good speed range for looping and allround play. You can pretty much match rubbers to about any blade to get it to perform around your particular style. It just takes some time to find that combination.

@nicefrog. They play differently, mostly on the weight issue. my hinokis are obviously heavier, the x5 is a mere 73 grams. they both have soft feels, but from my observations my one ply hinoki has more spring to it - it can be a very fast hitting blade also in addition to great dwell time. the hinoki is also less forgiving of poor technique - i actually switched from the max hinoki to the senkoh 85 which is more contollable and lighter.
i think it's more of the soft feel that makes me like the x5. i have a donic cayman (another balsa blade), and i do not like the hard feel it has. you'll probably like the 1 or 5 ply hinokis.
