JL,

I have realized that yes, I am interested in that 87 g blade. By the way, is that the one with an lacquered handle? Honestly I'd rather it were not but if it is, what can you do... is it, though?

How much would it be, with shipping to Massachusetts?

PM me !!

Thanks

JT

JimT,

Are you looking for 729 Aramid Carbon V6? The cost should be $27.99 plus shipping in US. I know the reliable place selling it in US. PM me if you are interested.

Thanks for checking - I am already buying one from jt99sf so I should be fine.

But would you mind posting their contact info and the weight at the V-6 thread, so that other guys know what is available? there were some who wanted to buy but were discouraged by 95 g weight...

Perhaps there is no secrecy - he just didn't mention it by accident. Or maybe it's just a friend who's in contact with some Chinese supplier...

$27.99 + shipping from USA is pretty good. For those who are asking me about my price and for a specific weight, mine was $37 including shipping. they'd be shipped from China.

I think $27.99 is the price quoted at Eacheng - so it is not reasonable to expect that to be shipped to the US for about the same money plus 3-5 dollars of intra-US shipping fee. However, if you order a lot of stuff then their S&H charges will not hurt you as much, I guess...

By the way, Albert - are those blade still manufactured (it was mentioned here that 729 had to stop those lines but it could have been just a rumor), or did you simply manage to find a supplier with the older ones?

I didn't purchase mine from Eacheng. Actually my girlfriend had picked them up herself from one of the distributors in Jiangsu Province of China. The blades were shipped to jt99sf, and any small profit was given to her. Was just wondering how a Us business can actually offer these blades at $27 a piece when there was barely any margin to be made for my girl who got them directly from a distributor.

Not sure, jt99sf ordered it from me 2 days before I left China. I had Berry (gf) talk with the distributor and she took care of it. Unaware of any manufacturer updates.

I was just interested to know if that rumor was true - these blades look awfully similar to Xiom, don't they? Xiom could have sued 729 and forced them to stop production, I guess... that was the rumor, anyway.

There is no secrecy. I got information from friend. I don't make money by selling blade like others. I will post the site later tonight after getting information from my friend.

PS: It is an insult to me for people thinking that I try to make profit here

Oh come on. He didn't really insult you - on the contrary we were surprised that the price was so low.
