This is my first post on this forum.

I am using the Ishlion with sriver el for both FH and BH. The problem is that the rubbers will become hard if I don't glue within a week. I am very tired of gluing. I heard that bryce is a good choice for those who don't glue often. For Ishlion, which rubber is better between bryce and bryce fx (both 2.1). It is said that Ishlion should go with a sponge that is as soft as possible, so the fx sounds better. But I have seen people playing bryce, not bryce fx.  I need some advice about this. Thanks.

You may try Bryce Fx on both sides or mixed it with roxon 450. Bryce Fx will be more durable than Roxon, but Roxon 450 has faster speed with the same spin as bryce FX and has speed glueing sound.

Thank you. I think I will try BRYCE FX for a while.

I have tried different blades and rubbers before, including hurricane king. Ishlion is a good blade if used in the right way. I used to play with Chinese rubbers like Hurricane 3, but am very bored with gluing now. Anyway, part of the fun in playing tt is experiment with different equipment and playing styles.

There are quite a few Ishlions at my club. I've seen the follwoing rubbers on them: Bryce Speed FX/Cermet (offensive looper), Platin/Platin Soft (offensive looper), Bryce FX/Bryce FX (smasher), Express One/Bryce FX (power looper)

I know a player who uses Catapult 2.1mm on both sides. And it's very tough to block his loops.

totally way cool, the longer I use it the better it feels and the more all the rest feel low tech.

Nothing absolutely nothing feels better than tenergy on islion.  Oh I shouldnt say feel I should say zips.

I again tried my andro super core light, which I think is the closest thing Ive tried to ISHLION.  And man I cant understand how the Andro bat can be atleast 20% faster!  Mine after modification weighs 66grams!

It is much harder to loop with, its rock stiff.  I love the weight and punch power in active moments but in passive moments no way.

This was all last night by the way.  After about 10 games with my friend I changed back to my ishlion.  (same rubbers on both blades T05)

He said seriously thanks for changing back now I can see the ball.  But after the first few games where I pulverised him, he didnt say anything.

THE ISHLION DOESNT FEEL HARD as so many people say.  That contrast made it feel soft and super easy to continuously loop.  It also doesnt feel to light, if anything it feels slow in passive shots and fast in active shots.  This is to me is the how you recognize the perfect blade for yourself.
There is no other blade that I have ever felt this oxymoron before.

There is no other blade that I have ever felt so much confidence in counter looping and blocking.  (Dont forget tenergy hasnt been around for ever)

hope this helps anyone?
