Definistly OFF.
Its very light and has a good pitch when it strikes the ball, very springy like Dipper woods with good feeling not too hard at all.
Very good wood.
I thought the throat of it was too wide and you have to varnish it if you are using any of the water based glues because it splinters way too easily. (I think it could have been finished better, maybe its made in China? They cant polish in China?)
The handle is a bit too large (I tried the flare) for my Butterfly hands, and I had to shave down the flare of the throat to suit my tastes.

Peter,
How heavy was it when you put rubber on?

Not heavy at all.
The problem with the blade is that its quite thick and feels real fat in your hand, Reminds me of the Tamaropa or one of those 1 ply blades.
I am actually looking forward to trying out the Epox offensive which I will recieve soon as its 5 grams lighter and thinner.
Hopefully it will be as vibration free as the topspeed without the setbacks.

Epox power allround is a very good blade. Mid throw angle very nice looping and decent speed.
It's a bit faster than Primorac off-.
Has good control and also has a great feeling. Great combo with Boost TC or JO Platin soft. With chinese rubbers plays well only then i think it's better if the choice is the Epox offensive due to the spped of off.
Power speed is a very good blade if you are a hitter. My problem with Powerspeed is that the blade has a very low throw angle and despite it's speed isn't a great choice for chinese rubbers.
But is one of the greatest choices in the marcet if you are a hitter and not a looper.
Before Epox series i likeD from Donic the Swedish line blades (made in Sweden) and i didn't like their chinese blades.
Epox series differ despite the fact iare mAde in China.
They are much better blades than other made in China Donic blades.
They are good looking blades and the price is very low if you consider the quality.
I think with Epox can start a new era for Donic blades.
Until now too many brands made their blades in China.
er example Andro m order blades to the Sunflex factory contrary to Donic which orders to 729 factory.
I have to admit that some Andro models are very good better than the majority of the made in China Donic blades, (Donic has the option of made in Sweden blades which Andro do not)
With Epox series something changes to the good for Donic.

You Mean the Super Core Cell range by Andro. Even though they look similar, they play very different. In fact they are worlds apart. |
