Did anyone try latest series of TSP rubbers with sp glue feel? The rubbers came to my mind are- TSP Actor, Bjorn, Brio, Real and Summit. How do they play? Are they jap/eurolike or chinese like rubbers?

Thanks in advance.

Real was nothing special to me. Kinda low throw on medium stiff carbon aramid blade. Just average but stable...medium sponge. Roxon much better, can't compare to tenergy, havent tried it yet.

All of those rubbers are meant to be glued.

Thanks all of you for your valuable info. So, which of these rubbers did you try? Didn't they have any glue feel at all?

summit is tacky but there's no glue feel.

TSP has no rubber with glue feel, thats why they are working and distributing XIOM in Japan.

The TSP rubbers like REAL, ACTOR and BJORN are from pre-speed-glue-ban era. However it has a technology called BUILT-IN-POWER that makes these rubbers fast and spinny. When it comes to the click sound, the BJorn is the one which can make more sound. If you are someone who can power spin, the TSP Real is a great rubber. The TSP Actor has more power. The TSP BJorn is fast but lack power. The TSP Real works on all-round blades. The TSP Actor and BJorn work on soft blades like hinoki - needs some power from the wood.

The XIOM is becoming the second largest popular product in Japan next to Butterfly. The Japanese National players use XIOM products next to some butterfly. I don't think TSP may invest anymore money into making new speed-glue rubbers except that they will work with XIOM to distribute the XIOM products in Japan.

I have written some reviews a while back. Here are they: TSP Real & Actor, TSP BJorn
