Does T05 match up better with Mizutani or Acoustic?  Any one with playing experience with these set up please reply.

I am using Mizutani with T05 and I like it.  But I want to buy another blade using T05.  Is Acoustic a good choice and much better ball-feel then Mizutani?  Many players from this forum also mentioned less speed from mid-distance then Mizutani.  Should I try Acoustic or wait for newer models?

I think T05 would match up better with the Mizutani. That rubber goes well on harder carbon blades.  It also has a medium/higher throw than T25 and apparently T64 which would balance out well with the extremely low throw that the Mizutani has.

+1 go with Mizutani I heard it's a very good combo. Many pro's have confirmed my opinion

If you are buying another blade, I would go with Timo Boll T5000.  It will be a good combination.  And look below for more info:

T05 + T5000 = T5005

Wow, your combination is the first Wink

I use Acoustic with Tenergy 05 2.1mm on both sides. Quite a few Acoustic owners have said it goes together well and I agree. I love it. It does have a high throw when combined with the Acoustic. Acoustic wins in ball feel hands down over Mizutani (as long as you aren't asking MOL). But then again I like the Acoustic blade better than the dime a dozen synthetic fiber Butterfly blades.

Could you name the pros? Hopefully not MOL.
For me , I prefer Acoustic with T05 since Acoustic has better dwell time and softer feel. T05 has really hard feel on Mizutani. I don't think Mizutani plus T05 is the right match.

Having tried both of them, I feel Tenergy 05 is better on Acoustic.
I can loop spinnier than using Mizutani.
Acoustic with Tenergy 05 on both sides is a setup for a looper.

i have not tried acoustic with tenergy 05 both sides but tried tenergy on mizutani. its a great combi to me that is.. it indeed can produce great spins (in my view) as mentioned by peter79..
Butterfly : Mizutani Jun. & Tenergy 05.

Mizutani feels to hard and difficult to control for me if I use Tenergy 05. I can't produce spinny loops with it. Maybe because of my looping style. I like to take the ball the the fall. Maybe if looping it on the rise will feels great.
When I use Mizutani, I can't loop consitently, the ball doesn't stay long enough.
With Acoustic, I can vary the spin, it has many gears.

I feel with T05 and Mizutani, it is a great combo if I play with a bit more power.  I can get a lot spin, speed, shift gears only if play with power (exceptional power with twisting abs).  If I try to do some lazy counter hits or loop, the control is awkward.

Would it be the same for Acoustic?

Mizutani should have more power than Acoustic. I could not see any combination which has much more power than Mizutani with T05 LOL
It should have plenty of power to play.
Acoustic would be easier to loop, but it is not as powerful as Mizutani

With Acoustic, you can swing hard and get a good result.
The loop become so spinny and it kicks almost like H3.
With Mizutani, I can't use all of my strength.
I think it depends of the people.
If you have big strength and needs more ccntrol, go for Acoustic.
If you have less strengh and needs more speed, go for Mizutani.
