Hey when ppl used to speed glue however many layers the sponge would become softer and softer. I know ppl who used to use 10 layers! which im guessing made the sponge really soft.

Since the speed glue ban why isnt everyone only going for the soft speed glue effect rubbers? Surely the hard sponge speed glue rubbers feel really bad for ppl used to soft sponge

Pierre-Luc Hinse (CTTA num 9 or something) played at our club for some tryouts once and he said he had switched to tenergy.  He said the sponge was realy hard you get less dwell time and fealing but that it makes up for it in spin and speed.  I think people will start using harder sponges since the softer ones seem to lose their kick without glue, like solcion or sriver fx.

would this mean ppl will have to change their game?
also what if ppl prefer the feel of softer sponge.

Hmm i wonder how long it will take to make a fast soft sponge speed glue rubber

I think that at this point people prefer to sacrifice feal but once fast and soft speed glue effect rubbers they will switch.  Although I believe Joola already makes them but some people are so blind when it comes to other brands besodes butterfly that they dont see what technologies are beeing developped besides the spring sponge

I dont think they will ever achieve something as satisfying as speed glue that will last.  People will just have to make the transfer and adjust their game to harder sponges and lower speed ans spin.
