Difference between KKT Super and Cho Super Cho?
I saw some without any printings on the blade surface of KKT Super 10.5mm.... so I wonder if this is cho super cho? |

Super Cho is 9mm and Cho Super Cho is 10mm, on the catalog at least. However you can find blades that deviate from the catalog specifications. For example, two of my Cho Super Chos are thicker than 10mm.
It is unusual to see Kokutaku Bishu series without face painting/lettering. They came out with all blank ink in the first generation. Later on they painted the model name and series name in light green color. The latest generation is in red. All the rest of the lettering is in black. You might have seen a custom ordered Bishu blade that has no lettering at all. Kokutaku is known to make special orders. |

well there are many many versions
for the older versions without the logo tag on the handle, the prinitings are only super cho for both the 9mm and 10mm version, the 10mm version i believe is only sold in taiwan.
later they came up with the logo tag and then they added a cho in front for the 10mm version, to seperate the 2 versions.
also, they are available in different sizes, 160x130? mm and larger size 163x135mm? (not sure of the exact sizes, just darker size compared with bty's size)
the one without printing yes i believe is the custom made blade, but for kkt the quality is lower than cho super cho actually, made for the taiwan market also. u can confirm its identity with the sticker at the side of the handle.
there are also versions of cho super without the round sanding like darker on the edge
many many versions, its actually quite impossible to identify all of them with limited pictures.
charles, the one posted by pual is actually "value-added" in china, i think, to add in the side logo tag.
u can always email kokutaku if you know japanese to check out the versions
