they do miss the table if you lay into them at the table, but funny enough in tournaments I find that the big spinny backhand shot with soft spinny rubbers doesnt seem to appear that often, more often than not, the person who can just keep an open blade to getting the ball back on the backhand side and can do good shots with the other side is the winner.
I know what you are talking about missing the table but they are easy to get on the table if you are not a try hard. Imagine standing at the table, instead of trying to do a fast shot, do the opposite and try to do nothing and see how fast it is. Or alternatively I imagine this is as close to short pimples on the backhand as Im going to get, just punch and timing
