I have not used Maze. So can't comment about that. But all the other ones will have a completely different feel compared to the Schlager Carbon. Schlager Carbon is one of the hardest paddles I have ever played with. All the paddles in the new Timo Boll serious have a pretty nice feel. I own the Schlager Carbon, Timo Boll ZLF and ZLC. And have also played with the ALC quite significantly. ZLF has the best feel. It gives an impression that it is a slow paddle but when you do proper swing, the ball flies. ZLC has a slightly harder feel (compared to ZLF). But it is still softer than ALC. While ALC is significantly softer compared to Schlager Carbon. I used to use Schlager Carbon. And haven't looked back since I switched. The SC blades are gathering dust. BTW, the Schlager Carbon is actually pretty good for blocking. |

Stay with SC. I try many blades but I return to SC because it's more fun to play with it. it's effortless to play with SC. After all, Werner Schlager uses it!
Of course the other blades you mention are not bad, but I cannot see a reason why to switch. If you want a slower blade for better looping and you are train every day, try Maze. With Maze, you will need much more physical power to get the same to SC speed though. |

sc i quite different from tb zlc zlb maze.
i agree that if you like it it is better to stay with it. it is the best blade in its category in my opinion (compared to strato, pc, ...). maybe you can try photino which has zlf in a similar building.

If you want to upgrade your looping play with blade smillar to SC with better control, better dwell time, better quality, same speed, THEN GO WITH AMULTART!

+1 SC is a great blade. Maybe he just wants to try something new which is kind of a good thing as there are a lot of products out there not necessarily better but may suit a particular player and his/her style more. Sometimes a little Experimenting can be good..

Forum member Speedy swears by the T5000. He said it's a good blade. I think he has the ZLF, ZLC and Maze but still likes the T5000 best.
Blade choice is very personal and very much depends on one's style of play, maybe you should PM and ask Speedy more information on the blades. |

If you are determined to change SC, try Amultart. I would stay with SC...

Chopping from mid-distance with SC and/or T5000? Are you serious? |
