One man from tibhar.su says that Grip-S will come at Jan 2010

You can try it now... simply get the Blue Whale 2 tuned version. 

However, if Tibhar is coming out their own version, I think that they will soften up the top sheet a bit than BW2 to tailor to the European taste.  BW2 top sheet is pretty hard.

You yourself just said that they are likely going to change the properties of the rubber. It will have a softer topsheet and better tuning and longevity which means different sponge and tuning process, meaning nothing will be the same.
