Yes, I was also thought that H3 is only suitable with All wood Blades. Composite has not enought dwell time for H3, but after trying ALC with H3, It really works well with H3 and it's faster. No wonder Malong switch to TBS.

Before I try H3 on ALC, I've tried H3 on M. Maze, it feels not as good as ALC, so I thought H3 isn't suitable for composite blades Embarrassed

If I recall correctly, most reviews in the past said something like these:

1.  They are similar, choose which one you like.

2.  TBS is for variable spin looping, while Maze is more for loop driving.

3.  Both are good blades, but Maze has better feeling.

Actually, I can play well using both TBS and Maze, it is just I like my Maze more because of the limba top-ply (familiar with its feeling).  So don't get the wrong idea.  If I can only have the TBS, it is fine also.  It is a good blade, so no wonder many Pros using it.

I am just pulling your legs because I suspect the change in preference is due to the Pros changing to TBS, Wink

I've got both blades too and I prefer the Michael Maze; due to it's better feeling, which I find makes it easier to judge shots, in the short game.

Both are very good blades and close enough in the way they play, that you can interchange them.

Here's a good thread comparing the two (well, 3 including Kong Linghui Special): http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2307&PN=1.

Personally I prefer thicker blades; the Maze is 5.9mm thick, whereas TBS is 5.7mm.
