Hey guys, first of all I just wanted to know as someone else posted recently, how the neo tg2 is. I haven't seen any effective reviews and was wondering if anyone had played with it and had input.
Secondly, I wanted to know if you have tried it and hurricane 3 neo, if the tg2 was in red and the h3 was in black, which is faster in your experience? Thanks in advance. And to anyone who thinks they are contributing or are clever at all by linking me to search or telling me to use the search function, I already have so thanks. |

just played with the neo tg2, initial thoughts:
definitely not for loopers. it's main strength is control. choppers will like this baby, almost anything midrange & away from table and be returned with tremendous amount of underspin, both FH & BH. also brilliant for smashing FH. since there's so much dwell time, u need to be able to generate the strength to make up for the slight lack of speed. it's much slower than the T05, the tenergy being one of the ultimate looping rubber. the neo tg2 is also excellent for serves as the top sheet is much stickier than the other neo series. but beware on looping returns coz if not handled properly, the ball will drop. loopers stay away. will add more when i get more playing time with this baby. |

completely disagree with jerms.
TG2n red 40deg vs H3n black 40deg.
TG2n is great for controled looping with high trajectory. Possible to lower it and make it very aggressive. Mostly it loops high over the net. Felt harder than black H3n topsheet. Felt faster than H3n. Worse in flat hits.
