Hi all,

Does this uneven surface really has any issue when it comes to playing?

Please advise... Clap

This happens when you put too much glue, and did not wait for the glue to dry before putting the rubber on.  It happens on one of my thin (1.5mm) rubber too, but I did not find any ill effect.

You should make sure to remove the glue residue from the sponge before you glue it back on. Also, let the glue dry completely and try not to disturb it while it is still drying.

I have a had a similar problem when it comes to gluing.  I usually put too much glue and dont wait until it dries enough. But even when I do that I just use a roller on the rubber after putting it on and the excess glue comes out the sides and it is usually pretty smooth.  Although its still better just to glue it the right way.  But if your impatient...

while not 100% "sure"
I think if you leave this on for a short while (a week or so) the ripples will simply go away

i could be wrong
