it plays like european.... but topsheet is a bit tacky.
it is pretty similar to palio cj8000. it is also pretty cheap so I wouldn't hesitate at all to try it. |

I suppose sponge of Phantom and Legend is the same, only topsheat is different. Sponge of Legend is hard, probably close to 42-44 of Yasaka rubbers. Legend is faster than cj8000 and much more grippy, so I don't see how Phantom could be slower than - or similar to - cj8000.
There is, however, difference in specs for Phantom and Legend between the Euro production site and Chinese one. The latter are much higher as numbers. Edited by Imago - 06/25/2010 at 3:12pm |

the sponge of legend and phantom is not the same. legend has a harder sponge. maybe the topsheet is the same in both. phantom seems a bit more lively and bouncy. probably speed is phantom > legend > cj8000 but the difference is small so it's hard to tell... |

You are right, sponge is different, so is topsheet. I am playing now 1 month with Legend and find it very good on all Stiga blades. It helps very much experience the notorious Stiga feel, esp., on OC CR. The only shortcomming so far is the slight discrepancy in the low gears, which can be overcome by regular boosting or intensifying.
