By medium I assume you're talking about intermediate?  If so then I say neither.  Save up a little more and purchase the Rogopong 1040, or even better, the Robopong 1050.

I believe the TT buddy Pro is $249.  For that price you can get a RoboPong 1040 for $200 and get the Paddle Palace catch net for $80.  Better value in my opinion.  Plus, in the future you can upgrade your 1040 into a 2040 with the Newgy recycling net.

It still might be better overall to save up for the 1050 though because of the programmable drills.

The catch net really makes a huge difference.

Even the bottom level Newgy is preferable than the TT Buddy. I just love my Newgy 1050 I made a catch net from a laundry hamper and made it recycle the balls.
