I had switched from FL to ST. Now, I am no longer use to using FL handles. This is troubling me because I have few blades in FL. I still can play with them, but I feel uncomfortable of the handle.
Should I sand the blade down to ST? or should I trade them away?

If you sand your FL handles, you will end up with ST handles that may be a bit too narrow, though the thickness may still be fine.

I wouldn't risk ending up with blades with uncomfortable handles and which you can no longer sell.

Unless you rather not spend the money at the moment, buy new blades. On the other hand, if you have no intention of selling the blades anyway, then go ahead and experiment.

I tend to agree w/Racquets4Sale.
Why bother to sand? The blades might end up may be head heavier. If $$$ is not the (your) issue then why not experimenting with, may be, just 1, your least favourite 1...Tell us what the outcome after sanding & playing w/it.
Personally, I'd not do it...Just sell/unload your "dislikes" & benefit others in the meantime save others few ringgits ($$$$).

Trade for ST handles.

Do not sand as you risk a too narrow and uncomfortable handle (and reduce resale value)

One roll can easily take care of 2 handles (no more than 2mm overlap) and then you add 3 grams in weight.

If you use a full roll you can overlap a lot more in the midddle of the handle and less at the bottom and the top of it. You will add a total of 6 grams and your blade will be less head heavy if it already is. For sure you'll end up with a ST like handle.

The problem is you may loose some feel.

Thank you all for your advice. I will put the idea of sanding aside for now.
Fatt: I have been wrapping all my blades with rubber grip. I will try to wrap more in the middle and give it another try a week or two.
Have a great day to all.

if you DO sand, sand only one side to ST. Then the top of the handle no longer butchers your palm when you make the banana shots. And the other side adds hold of the blade during lose grip forehand swings.

I now actually prefer this hybrid handle to the straight

I personally sand the forhand side to st and keep the bh fl so this way you don't have to change the grip b/w shots

Find someone with wood working skills.  They can easily mod the handle for you.  We have a guy doing handle mods here.  He converted quite a few people to tenaly handle.
Clipper Wood, Sanwei Gears FH, Sanwei T88-I BH.
