Depends on the blade. On a fast and stiff blade, I think FX is better. On a flexy looping blade, regular is better.

I think asking any high level player would tell you he wouldn't sacrifice speed and move to FX.

the problem with fx is that it has less control, because the ball always penetrates the rubber and then gets catapulted long. this makes it a worse rubber for close to table players. IMHO, it only makes sense for mid distance and far from table players (kreanga-like).

FX didn't work for me, too soft like playing with just sponge .
