It hasn't occured to me before, but for provincial-level players a rubber whose tuning effect dies after a MONTH is going to be much more than adequate - they probably change rubbers every 5 days or so :/

hey chronos, i played with whale red sponge for about a year and if you are a H3 player you will like this rubber! couple of things to keep in mind: you have to tune it after 2-3 weeks cuz it loses the tuning effect, IMHO is better to speed glue it than boosting it...it will play better! the problem is that you have to swing hard almost all the time when you want to topspin and cannot "cheat" like with Tenergy...where this rubber is awesome is at counterlooping, short game and blocking but in passive game it truly sucks!!!

It's a heavy rubber, mine is black, 2.1 mm, cut into Acoustic L-sized which is not that big, 52 gr...
My H3 National 2.2 weight 48 gr....
Comparing H3 National Neo Untuned vs Spin Art, you may feel Spin art is better....
But after H3 National is already break in, you'll feel H3 National is better
When you boost H3 National, it will be much better than Spin Art....
I haven't tried to boost Spin art, perhaps it will make it bigger, and if it's cut the excess rubber, it will become less heavy...
But still I doubt it will have the same spin performance as H3 even both rubber are boosted.
Andro Wanokiwami AO Offensive 83 gr
H3 National Orange 40 deg 2.2
Baracuda Max
182 Gr

For fans of hard tacky Chinese rubbers, it's nice to have a rubber that plays consistent without the need to tune (though Spinart plays even better when tuned). Unlike Palio Thors, Spinart actually plays and feels like a Chinese rubber.

Completely agree. When heavily tuned it plays tenergy-like, I got a chance to play with it while it was tuned with some Chinese stuff.

OK, but why not just get Chinese rubber?  If I could play with it, that's for sure what I could do.  I don't actually enjoy paying $80 for a sheet of rubber!

Getting a bottle of tuner to go with a sheet of H3 Provincial is almost as expensive, anyway. And if I'm giving someone a paddle as a gift, I wouldn't give them something that requires tuning, because most people wouldn't know how.

$80 a sheet of rubber is not that expensive if you are planning to play with the rubber until it completely breaks apart. It's only expensive if you switch every 2 weeks just because the rubber loses a bit of its tack (which can be revitalized with oil).

If you like Chinese rubbers, get Juic 999 Turbo and save yourself trouble and quality issues.
I like putting heavy topspin on the ball...
