it is good for forehand if you like hard rubbers. very spinny, good speed.
nice rubber generally. i played it with rosewood xo didn't work. but on clipper cr it is really nice.
i think it suits with softer blades.

tg3, after seeing all the hype about Tibhar 1Q for months here in Korea (Lots of Penholders using this on FH who previously liked T64) I decided to cough up $55 for a sheet. ( really paid $10 less, but that is  alot of cash for one sheet of rubber.

Note, for the last year, I have been using primarily regular Tibhar Aurus on FH (Occasionally Calibra LT) on a TBS (for several years) so I am familiar with TBS.

I agree with the overall observations of this rubber. Speed on top end is good, maybe better than Aurus. Spin on full strokes is good. Control across 1/2 power and full power strokes is average. Overall, I did not see how this rubber, expensive or not could suit me better than my current FH rubber Aurus, which has much better control, especially in the all-important macho-man measure of re-looping or countering close to table.

I get a good discount on Tibhar and Stiga rubber from the distributor. Whenever I go there, I end up buying lots of Aurus for all the blades I tryout or backup bats.

If I was more of a loopdriver, I would probably like 1Q more. If I was a J-Pen player, I would prolly like it more than Aurus.

I moved 1Q to the BH wing of my ALC and it works there fine like any other inverted rubber.

BTW, hardness is a tad softer than hardish Aurus. Throw is medium low on ALC and TBS. Kick on fast loops is super, moves out low after first bounce almost like Calibra LT.
