I'd like to stay away from the marketing debate.......

Let's try and accurately identify the differences and lineage......

We all know that the Viscaria was the original, and as far as I know the story goes that the TBS came about as a custom blade for a young Timo who found the ST handle of the Viscaria too big, so they put the ST handle from the Power Drive blade on it. At some point the wings became smaller as well.

Next the Timo Boll ALC. Enter the glue ban, and Timo again customises his blade by making the ST handle bigger and squarer, as well as trimming the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock areas of the blade face to make it more egg shaped. It has been stated and photographed on a Chinese forum that the TB ALC fibres contain a slightly higher ratio of carbon to arylate compared to the TBS. Sorry but I don't recall where I saw this info exactly so if someone can add to it's validity or non-validity would help.

Now the ZJ. All we know at the moment is that the wings are again smaller, the FL handle is modified this time to a larger fuller shape. It seems a common response that the ZJ is less head heavy, again catering for the new era rubbers.

All this conjecture about hardness, feel, etc is coming from tests of 1 sample (or other small amount) and hence is limited and subjective information.

Does anyone know of any other differences in construction ?

Excellent post.  It goes to show that relatively small changes can have pretty big effects.  Personally I think the ZJK blade is a failure.  All of the other three are better.  I like the longer handle in the TB-ALC.  I had not heard that the arylate/carbon ratio in the weave had changed, but it seems very plausible to me.
