I often see 38mm balls at Walmart. Try Walmart, sports stores, and dollar/99c stores.

Ebay is your best bet for 3star collectibles. I've seen some practice balls 100/bag at a local variety store, myself i have a few 3star Nitakku from back in the day :p

38mm is not a standard size table tennis ball. 38mm is used for recreational use. These are easily found at a wal-mart, target, dicks sporting goods.

Has anyone ever tried emailing Nittaku etc to see if they have eny supplies leftover. They could sell for double the price of 40mm.

Soon we'll be asking the same thing about the current 40mm balls
I agree, there are still plenty to be found for recreational use, but they're usually nothing like the old proper 38mm ball. |

Haggis, aren't you a seller of sorts? I'm sure you must have asked your suppliers for 38mm. Has the world supply simply dried up?

I am just curious how the 38mm ball will behave when looped with T05 with full force.

Yes I've asked a few before and they've stopped making them. We might get 1 or 2 query about it per year, so there's not a lot of demand for them... |

Once found a 3 star 38mm Double Happiness. Worn so smooth and had the classic logo. Lost it though, dang. ;___;
