BTY would have already marketed this by now and charged another $30 per sheet to make it a bonafide over $100 per sheet rubber, making it more expensive per sheet than an SUV tire.

When you say professional version of Tenergy, do you mean what the Butterfly sponsored players use ?  as opposed to what is sold to the general public ?

''Professional'' version tenergy's are nothing to really get crazy about. They are pretty much only very constant batches of tenergy that are made using the middle part of the big sponge they cut into smaller pieces when they make the rubbers. That being said, commercial tenergies could have the same properties as ''pro'' ones as they could very well have been taken from the same places in the sponge.

I can't be totally sure but I doubt much butterfly sponsored pros outside top 20-30 really bother with that much quality control on their rubbers. Most probably get the same commercial tenergy you can buy may simply be a little bit precise on their wanted rubber weight.

So in conclusion, pro tenergies are just more constant quality products made to make sure really high level pros get to play with rubbers with same properties all the time. But they are made the same way as commercial ones, only the one labelled as pro have a more rigorous quality control.

Hope my less than structured explanation helps you a little !
