I got to try Rosewood 7 for few hits and I really liked the feel (feedback) and the touch of the blade. Only the speed seemed a little bit too much for my taste.
My question is: would Rosewood 5 be a little bit slower than Rw7, but with similar (very good) feel and touch? I'd also like to get some input from players who have played with Xiom Stradivarius and Rw5, since I have been playing with Strad for few years, and I'd like to try out some all wood blade. The thing is: I would not want to switch to a blade much faster than Stradivarius, since I feel it is on the top end of the speed spectrum I can cope with (most of the time). Also, if you have played with both I'd be interested in any comparison and thoughts on how easy would it be to 'migrate' from Strad to Rw5.

yes, rw5 is a tad slower but i like it better since its lighter by 5-7 grams. i think you can feel the ball better with th rw5 since it has more flex. the rw7 is very stiff

I bought RW7 two years back and found it to fast. It was fine in practice but when competing and nerves kicked in I found it very unforgiving. Didn't suit me at all. On hindsight I should have tried RW5, but I haven't had that opportunity yet.
