I'm looking for a source of already-glued plywood with quality good enough for TT blade.
I myself will be doing the cutting.
Just need the blank plywood to be of decent quality (doesn't have to be fancy, and the cheaper the better), 5-7 plies, and with approximately similar ballpark density and thickness  (5-7mm) as commercially-available TT blades.

I've briefly sourced plywood for furniture some years ago, and I've never seen any TT-like combos. Stuff like limba-spruce-ayous isn't what you would use for furniture.

You probably need to go to a TT blade maker, there are several in the US and you would know them better than me.

I would suggest to buy some cheap premade rackets at Walmart or any other supermarket and remove the rubbers from them, it would be cheaper and better than fiddling with real plywood of any quality.

@bbkon: i wrote that i will be doing the cutting myself, which means i don't want pre-cut wood.  yes, my playing level is actually very low, i would guess as low as your reading skills?

@Pingvinis: that makes sense, i'll explore that option, thanks.

+1. Playing with unknown ply wood\glue not made for TT blade, would be worse than playing with a cheapest pre-made from walmart.

Thanks for the leads.  Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier that I wanted rectangular wood sheets that I can cut, and not the pre-cut ones where you just attach the handle sides or install rubber on.

I've since found sources of one-ply thin lumber, like Basswood, Cedar, Cypress and Soft Maple, which seem light enough for the purpose.  For anyone interested, a couple of online sources are kencraftstore.com and thinwoods.com.

@Dr. Cho: how does your cedar blade play?

Not bad but not like a cypress
I dont give much time to playing with blades i make unless their something special.
I try to make a better blade and have so many ideas to try out.
