Can anyone here help me. I am interested in purchasing this blade, but I am unaware of it's performance. Have you guys tried this already. What are your views?

I swapped my beloved Clipper cr to Tibhar Blasa sgs due a wrist issues. I have played with few balsa blades in past and I have to say that this one feels a lot like a "all wood" blade compairing to other balsa blades. It is a little bit slover than Clipper cr, but not by much. I have a Joola Ryzhm on my fh and Stiga Tour S on my bh. Ryzhm suits to this blade really well! Sgs is a bit flexible. So if you like it to be stiffer and faster, you should ask the blade to as heavy as your seller can find. I have two blade and the other one is much stiffer, faster and a bit heavier than the other. My impression is that this is a blade which playing abilities varies a lot so you should think what you are looking for your blade and ask your seller to pick you a kind of blade that you want. Heavier ones are faster with a little vibration and a bit lest controll and lighter ones are slower, more vibrateing and has more control. Summasummarum I love this blade (the faster one). It suits player from novice to really good players.

Thank you very much for responding. But I would like to know how does the light version play with the Stiga Tour S. Have you used that as well ? What about in the game; is it good enough for competition play? What about Looping, blocking, driving, short game. I am speaking the lighter one, which weights about 75g.

I haven´t weight the blades but I think that both my blades are under 75gr, the lighter one might be under 70gr. These is guessing based on handfeeling based on comparison with Yeo which weight is 85gr and other balsa blade which weights 63gr.
I haven´t test Tour S with the lighter blade but I can say that it suits quite well to this blade (bh). It doesn´t really matter if the blade is lighter or heavier, basic properties of these blades are quite similar. With Tour S it´s easy to loop and block and punch block. Heavy drives are not easy to excecute due it´s softnes. It´s also bit bouncy for short game. This blade is really easy to use and I love it´s lightnes. It´s surely is good enough for competition play. I think that every blade is good enough for competition in right hands. For example Balsa sgs is used by 2nd best rated male player in my country. Cheers, Tommi
