Hi,

I am looking for a blade with the following characteristics.
1. Koto outer ply
2. Thin, as thin as possible. Not too flexy for close to the table play, but some flex from mid-distance
3. Off- To Off, tending to Off-
4. Weight between 86-88 grams
5. Not head heavy!
6. High throw, if there is any such thing.

I don't care if its composite or not. Price is not an issue.
I am playing with Timo Boll Zlf. I am looking for a similar blade with a bit more control and little less head heavy.

I am looking at Infinity VPS and Joola Rossi Emotion, but I am worried that they may have more dwell than I want.

Thanks

neither of those are Koto outer ply as you probably know

out of curiousity, have you tried Waldner Senso Carbon? Specifically, the JO Shape, which brings the balance more towards the handle

I would suggest the thinnest possible HH 656 (5.8 mm). It has all the specs required except one - but the head is big enough to be shaved.

On a second thought, 729 F-1 might be a better choice.

P500/Runlox has a softer feel at ball impact. Acoustic feels a tic stiffer and more direct. Acoustic is a superb blade but expensive.
