In case anyone was wondering... This explains somewhat its playing characteristics.

i'm not surprised at all.
same goes for latest & greatest Btfly Viscarias & others such as PC, SC & what-have-you... In the meantime, I'd just stick to my 84g-90g not-so-latest Btflies & old Stigas & OSPs.... |

i don't get this one. It is so light already, why not make solid handle? It will feel so much better

It can be felt. And if the plate wasn't hollow it would feel better.

Lol we should start a list of the Butterfly blades with hollow handles... as I'd really like to avoid them.
Apparently many (if not the vast majority) of the newer Stiga blades are like this. BTW, Does anyone know if the Darker blades are hollow handled too? |

What happened to your blade - why did it break? It is a bit disappointing to see it hollow but not a total deal breaker. Edited by 808ponger - 05/19/2014 at 6:45pm |

Here is the image of my Rosewood V before I fixed it. Completely holly handle, probably lead to the ease at which it broke.

Ah snap! (pun intended) in order to quell my EJ urges I decided to just stick with Stiga blades. I have my 2nd Infinity and an AC Carbon on its way. Hopefully they won't befall the same fate as these.
Looks like Stiga took the weakest part of any blade and made it even weaker. |

Funny that they would make the blade so light when Fan Zhendong specifically requests 90g blades...

Betcha FZD's handle is not hollow The pro's blades are never the same as the commercial ones Or is it the commercial blades are never the same as the made-for-pro-only |
