What type of blade would be best for hurricane 3? Would it be to slow on an all-all+ blade?

At least your must use Off blades otherwise, I think it's too slow if you put it on all-, all+ blades

Depending on your feel of the ball, your game but IMHO, most of players use ALC or pur wood blades with H3, I used Maze Carbon, Viscaria , Nittaku Accoustic and now Primorac Carbon.

Good to find the best   setup :-)

The best thing for H3 is an OFF all wood blade like Rosewood, YEO...

Question: are we talking about H3 here, or (my guess) about H3 Neo ?

+1 probably off range, not overly fast. hurricane's power is in its spin and impact force. a too fast blade would reduce that effectiveness, in which case you might as well use tenergy
Viscaria
H3N/T05

ALL/ALL+ may be too slow in the long run unless you heavily boost the H3.  OFF blades with a little bit of flex seems to do the trick for me.  I haven't found anything I like that's more flexible than a YEO for H3.

I also found that H3's arc and feeling change dramatically with different blade compositions...  I used to use it on hard walnut outer-ply blades (YEO and YES), but now I prefer a softer limba outer ply (IZLC and Clipper) for a more pronounced and forgiving arc at the expense of some feeling on touch shots.

+1. It must have a catapult effect for the middle distance and long shots. Any H655/656 work best for me, esp., with TG3 BS and H3 Nat.

Allwood or soft carbon (ex arylate)
I have tried it on many blades....
On HKing, avalox p700, viscaria, tb alc,bty KLH, clipper and invinity....dhs hurricane felt better than on gergely, sardius, amultart and other hard carbon

I have, MC-2 is a bit slow for H3 Neo  / non-neo. I can recommend clipper or fromt the Yinhe Range V-14, V-1 or V-2.

What about Yinhe T2 Carbon blade with non neo h3? It seems fast but very stiff. That might affect its looping capabilities?

MC-2 is way better with H2/3 than T2.

Another great candidate for H2/3 is DHS PG-13.

H3 is an allround attacking rubber, blade should be based on style. If you have a counter-based stroke, go with something soft and stiff. If you have a power-based stroke, go with something hard and more flexible. For a mixed game, composites are usually better.

Blai try it on a 7 ply wood blade like clipper!

For composite blades Viscaria is great.

The clue is to take the right hardness.

Flexy wood blade: >= 40d
Hardwood and ALC: max 39d

Boost if needed.

Main: Boll ALC FL 93g, FH: H3 Prov 39d bl. BH: T80 1.9 red

Spare: Boll Spirit AN black Tag 90g, FH: H3N Prov. 40d bl. BH: T80 1.9 red
