Hi Everyone!
I'm looking for a new blade. Overally i played with timo boll forte with andro hexer. Blade was not bad, little soft. Power strokes showed that it's really fast blade, with many gears. Problem was then, when was receiving ball, too big throw, too mushy, dwell time was defect at this element in game and i lost too much points. Overally blade isn't flexible, but outer ply like limba was the reason (even if i played with harder rubbers) why my receive was a problem. I don't know why i was played with boll forte. A few players from my club which they are good in my country play with it, many european young players like robinot. One year with this blade wasn't bad, but i think that my blade is too softly, and close to table limba isn't good, but in half distance boll forte hasn't flex. I really like koto like outer play, a need a kick the ball, catapult - not mushy like limba, but i need spin. I think about avalox p500, if it's little harder with kick and still with spin, that can be very good blade. I NEED a long trajectory too because with boll forte was short (bad flex) A few last trainings i play with stiga rosewood XO (hexer FH, t05 BH), overally is really fast blade, good flex(for me it isn't "nearly stiff", it's "power" - from stiga catalogue) Speed, flex, power - very good trajectory - not long but low - not good, but not bad (if long then - very good) :) spin - not good control - not bad, not good overally, hardwood is very good for my game, even with harder rubbers These are THOUGHS :) Which type blades, or blades you reccomend? 6.0 thickness is my max :) I think about p500, yeo, intensity, infinity, ebV and others hehe please for answer regards |

I know P500 and EbV have several "gears", so your on the right path.

I would recommend BTY power drive II. It is a very nice blade with speed and control. It costs about $80, but plays like a $200 (like Innerforce ZLC).

Power Drive II is thick and stiff, with a soft Hinoki surface.
It's bouncy, but has little catapult. I don't think it's what you're looking for. |
