I just setup a racket for a friend with Xiom Omega V pro 2.0 on both sides (Primorac).   I hit with it for a few mins just to compare it to my new EJ racket (Adidas Avenger 5 with Rakza-Tenergy 05fx).

I really like the Xiom Omega V pro top sheet.  Feels soft and grippy with high elasticity.  But the Omega V pro was fairly heavy for my tastes...2.0 cuts (157x150) were about 46-47 from uncut sheets of 66-67g.

I would like to find a Xiom version slightly lighter/softer than the Omega V pro. What other Xiom rubbers might use that same top sheet formula?

Maybe Omega 5 Euro? The sponge is softer (not sure by how much) so it must be lighter (again, not sure by how much).

I have tried both Omega  5 Euro and O4 Pro and they are very good rubbers but the feeling is not the same. I would rather go with 04 euro.

Yes but he's asking about Omega 5 pro. The topsheets of 4 and 5 might be different. I'm not poitive as I've never tried any Omega 4 rubbers but Rich likes the topsheet of Omega 5 pro. If Omega 5 Euro uses the same topsheet as 5 pro (I'm still not sure if it does) then he will probably like it.

You are right. Sorry I misread the question I thought Rich was looking for something similar to Omega IV pro. Omega 5 euro is definitely the way to go. Great rubber!

I used a sheet of Omega5 euro 2.0mm and it weighed 68g uncut.
So the weight is similar to Omega5 pro

To get a lower weight. you'll have to try the Omega4 family
