Hi @ All !
I just would like you to compare these two rubbers: Donic Desto F1 vs. Andro Revolution Fire... In terms of: -Speed -Spin -Control -Throw Angle -Durability -Hardness Thanks ! Btw, If you havent played with Revolution Fire, please compare F1 with Tango Extreme instead, because I heard they are nearly the same (perhaps a slightly different topsheet)... |

(old) F1 vs Tango Extrem:
Tango Extrem is (slightly) springier (hence faster) Tango Extrem chips more easily Tango Extrem dies quicker Tango Extrem is very slightly tacky & grippier out-of-the-box (hence spinnier) (old) F1 has a slightly oily topsheet out-of-the-box Sponge is about the same hardness. Topsheet hardness is about the same. Throw angle is about the same. I haven't used Revolution Fire. I have used Quad 450 though. That's sort of like the F1 sponge with the Tango Extrem topsheet (except not tacky, just grippy). F1 has a crappy logo design |

Thank you somuch Silvalis... Very good...!!!
So you think, Tango Extreme/Revolution Fire are about the same as F1 ?! Slightly different of course, but I can get these TangoExtreme/RevFire sheets much cheaper... Do you think they are a good equivalent to F1, or is the Desto slightly better ? Thanks ! |

I prefer Tango Extrem over F1. I also prefer Revolution Quad 450 over F1. F1 is nice, but the initial oily feel of the topsheet put me off. I hear the new version is quite grippy without the oily feel.
F1 will probably last longer if you take care of it. I'm guessing Revo Fire and Revo Quad 450 are in a similar boat. Tango Extrem chips too easily. If I had money, I'd go for Tango - I prefer the topsheet and the springier sponge. Would not be surprised if you wound up changing sheets ever 1-2 mths though, unless, of course, you're not careless and don't keep dinging the table. If you don't, then they're pretty much all the same for durability. Again, I haven't tried Revo Fire. I think the Revo emotion/supersponge/COR generation are supposed to be better? I really don't know... |

The speed is about the same or F1 might be a little faster. Revoution Fire glue up better and is spinnier but easier to control.
