watched a bit of it.  FTW does seem a bit off.  The Thai girl is irritating with her high pitched screams.

the thai girl screams with such high pitch, any opponent will be frustrated by that.  Perhaps that's also part of the thai's strategy?

Yes ! She said she was on a very strict diet to lose weight because of her knees injuries. She talks about it in this video and how it was difficult for her because she was very hungry at the beginning and her dreams about food. LOL

She is not using pips. It is a butterfly rubber, probably tenergy.

I just wonder how degrading it would be for the player if it actually was a tactic...

Found this comment for the match. What do you think?

"Seriously this umpire sucks. Keep shouting "play play" and rushing the players. Then for whatever reason she paused for long time at end of 4th game which disrupted the momentum of the players."

Feng Tianwei has been such a great champion, even though she may have had difficulty winning against defenders. It is sometimes possible a player beats herself, too... maybe she would like to follow, eventually, if possible, the good example of Li Jiawei's career ending Wink ?

It 's culture different., Choring is seem to be normal for the player in Asia.., especially during the big match.

Feng tianwei play good. but it just Suthasinee 's day.

Maybe - but if I was the thai girl, I wouldn't cho like that because of the sheer lack of respect that you would get from the opponent and the audience. But to each their own.
