Hi, I would like to try t05-fx. Could somebody tell me if the hardness is more or less than bluefire m2?

(or also compared to jp02 if you prefer. I know that one too).

Thanks

I found M2 harder then 05-FX..

IMO, 05-FX is about the same hardness of ESN 42,5 rubbers.

T05 FX sponge is softer than both. Topsheet is similar to T05 top sheet.

However, unlike your JP03, you can punch a bit with it. There is a highly rated player in the NY area (around 2700) who uses T05FX on his BH & is generally known for his good BH (you can check "Kai Zhang Table Tennis" search on YouTube for his videos).

However, JP03 is better for banana flick (as it is soft) & has better control.

Thank you guys.

my problem is that I have to give up jp03 because it is too soft, so the first loop has too little spin. so opponents do a slow push to my backhand, and if I open with bh they punch block to kill, and if I open with fh I leave too much room for another punch block.

With m2, the problem is gone, but my flip consistency goes down a lot. (however, the flip has more spin and overall quality, when it goes in). Do you think t05-fx could help?

I think you would have the same problem as you have with JP03.

Thanks. OTOH, m2 is 42.5. if T05-fx has the same hardness, or slightly less, but the topsheet is better ...

The Bluefire M rubbers (including M3) are heavy...
(1) Juic SBA (Fl, 85 g) with Bluefire JP3 (red max) on FH and 0.6 mm DR N Desperado on BH; (2) Yinhe T7 (Fl, 87 g) with Bluefire M3 (red 2.0) on FH and 0.6 mm 755 on BH.

Yes M2 is more like 45 deg but T05FX will be a good replacement for BH and you can brush more with Top-sheet on the slow open giving a lot of rotation compared to the BF series .

I think you might prefer regular T64 instead of 05fx. Not 64fx but regular 64.
