OK Cole. I got a little bit heated. It must be the competitive nature in me that drove me to the top of the Liaoning province as a young boy, and onto the champions podium at the Kong Jia Xian cup twice. Accept my apology and I appreciate what you do for this forum.

This mockery of my language skills and education history is absolutely uncalled for. I hope the moderator Baal will reprimand you for this. Until you post any proof otherwise, I will assume you are a college dropout with low IQ and few academic successes, and you project this insecurity onto anonymous people on forums by making underhanded remarks such as this.
|
Yes... divert attention from my point...
Now how about them youtube videos? |
Talk the big talk, but back down when forced to walk the walk. Please do share your academic achievements, I'm sure only a gentleman and a scholar would find the need to insult a non-native speaker's English. Now based on your YouTube channel which I've just searched for, I'm sure you can understand that uploading quality videos takes time. Nice forehand technique by the way. Are you wearing a back brace?
|
Actually wearing two back braces, 2 knee braces, a wrist guard, and a baseball helmet to protect my "college dropout/low IQ" brain.
Look at you... you know how to insult other players as well. That will certainly bring in students into your freshly established academia. |
Funny how you accuse me of diverting from the point, and you use sarcasm as a tool to do the same exact thing two times in a row. Go for 3 Andrei!

You found my name.
You are a pro stalker as well.
Good to know you possess this great quality that will help you thrive in this forum.

Very simple inference given your apparent ethnicity and forum username. To a person of decent common sense, it would be obvious that that is how I came to my conclusion, rather than imaginary "stalking" of someone who is evidently not good enough of a player to have any sort of documentation of themselves online. Good to know you completed the 3-peat, are you going to either address my rebuke and/or admit you were wrong for your trolling and offensive remark?

Nope, I'm just going to...
... in this case, for you to get banned (again).

It will be you getting banned for inciting negativity with crude remarks. But since you assume that I am the same person as trolls of the past, I find it even more hypocritical that you would say that you're going to wait for it to blow over and get banned, yet you took the choice to get so proactively involved in trying to prove me wrong I'll stop now, I have mercy on my enemies.

Was he a lot better? It seemed like he could get an error on serve return at will, but chose to open the rally to NL's body and seemed confident he could out rally him most of the time. Was he just saving the trickier serves, or was he just using them when needed? That's what I usually do when I'm playing players a couple hundred points under me.
If NL is 1800's, and he looks that to me, then the guy in the blue looked 200 points better. At least in the first half of the vid. Anyway I enjoyed the match. |
Don't take offense to this Cole but if you were to play NL in a match you would be the person who would be the person who is a couple hundred points (391 to be exact)below him. NL rating fluctuates between 1950-2050 Currently 1955 range (its always changing, he's played 15 tournaments so far this year). NL and I basically have the same rating.

NL is about 2000, Blue shirt guy (DeWitt) was something like 2150-2200 last time I saw him play. So I guess the comparison between the two is somewhat accurate in terms of rating gap, just not the level where they are at.

I thought he was just under 1900 or had just broken 1900. I was being positive by saying he looked to be in the 1800s, which I thought was his legit rating. I didn't say he sucked. I was saying he looked good, which is why I was impressed by the way the guy played him. I was curious to see if he was really trying, because I wasn't sure.
Anyway, it's not like I've never beaten an 1800 player. I play double inverted players at about 1700. It's the deadballers that kill me. I only get to play them in tournaments. I promise you if I could play NL, and I wish I could, you would think I was within 200 points just because of the matchup. I admire and respect his game and his work. I think he knows that or I wouldn't have phrased things the way I did.
Everybody's so touchy on this thread. Interesting that you and the OP both have done your "research" so thoroughly.

Looking up a rating is not exactly thoroughly exhausting "research". Lol

Yeah, that was kind of aimed at the OP. Again, all in fun. I kind of thought this whole thread was kind of just for fun.
